Sonder Consultants Welcomes Carla Luna as Senior Consultant in New York

Sonder Consultants is delighted to welcome Carla Luna, who has joined the firm this month as a Senior Consultant our New York office.

Carla will focus on advising M&A and Private Equity associates across the U.S., working closely with lawyers at all stages of their careers to help them navigate the market and make informed, strategic career decisions.

Carla graduated from Harvard Law School and began her legal career at Simpson Thacher, one of the world’s leading law firms and widely recognised as one of the premier firms for private equity globally. During her time there, she gained broad transactional experience across Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets, and Real Estate Finance, advising leading sponsors, financial institutions, and corporate clients on complex, high-value matters. She later practised as an Associate at Massumi + Consoli, where she focused on M&A transactions within a highly regarded boutique environment.

Having worked within elite private practice environments, Carla brings a genuine understanding of the standards, expectations, and career considerations facing associates today. Her firsthand experience allows her to offer thoughtful, informed guidance to lawyers navigating critical career decisions, and to support firms in securing talent with the right technical and cultural fit.
