We're delighted to welcome Alex Willis to Sonder Consultants as a Senior Consultant, and thereby further strengthen our London team.
Based in London, Alex joins Sonder with experience in global recruitment across multiple sectors, bringing a broad perspective to identifying and connecting exceptional talent with opportunities across a range of markets and disciplines.
Specialising in legal recruitment, Alex has experience supporting private practice appointments at a variety of levels, including partner, lawyer and associate searches with leading law firms. His work has spanned both domestic and international mandates, including cross-border searches and relocations, giving him a strong understanding of the different considerations involved when lawyers are navigating their next career move.
Alex takes a consultative and relationship-led approach to recruitment, working closely with candidates to understand not only what they are looking for from their next role, but how each opportunity fits within their longer-term career ambitions. By combining tailored market insight with strategic advice throughout the recruitment process, he aims to give lawyers the information and support they need to make informed decisions about their careers.
His experience working across different sectors and markets also enables him to bring a broader perspective to legal recruitment. Having supported searches with varying requirements and levels of complexity, Alex understands the importance of looking beyond a CV to identify the right alignment between a lawyer, a firm and the opportunity in front of them.
As part of Sonder's London team, Alex will work with lawyers and leading law firms across the City, supporting searches across a range of practice areas and levels while continuing to build long-term relationships across the market.
Outside of work, Alex is a keen sports fan and Everton supporter, although he'll happily watch just about any sport. He also enjoys getting outdoors and walking his dog.
