A leading disputes-focused firm reached out with a very clear brief: they needed a mid-level contentious insolvency associate who could balance hands-on litigation with a solid understanding of restructuring work. They’re selective and invest heavily in training, so the right personality fit mattered just as much as technical ability. We’d successfully placed into this team before, so we understood the type of lawyer they were looking for. We started targeted outreach straight away.

We connected with a candidate who had been referenced in earlier discussions with the firm. During our first call, she explained that she enjoyed her insolvency practice but wanted more contested matters, more responsibility, and closer access to senior partners.

After further educating the candidate on the role/firm/team/partners she was excited by the prospect and we sent her CV to the hiring team.
