Barangaroo – a stone’s throw away from the city boosting waterfront views and an endless pick of great eating spots. If you’re looking for inspiration for your next client or team lunch, we’ve got you covered:

1. Banksii

Banksii is a seaside greenhouse. It’s flush with sunlight, surrounded by glass, painted with the pastel colours of the seaside bush and looks onto the harbour. Food here changes seasonally but team lunches here in the past have consistently delivered! At Sonder’s recent team outing, most of the team ordered the scotch fillet, and I certainly looked upon their dish enviously (although my snapper was a delight too!).

2. Zushi

Great waterfront location, quality Japanese food with a modern twist, and delicious sake cocktails. Winner on all fronts!

3. Nola Smokehouse

With breathtaking views over Jones Bay Wharf, NOLA Smokehouse and Bar takes a contemporary approach to Southern BBQ. Meat lovers will rejoice at the selection of cuts and varieties here. If you can’t make up your mind, we recommend the “Pit Master’s Pick”

4. Phomo

Dubbed “Sydney’s only waterfront Vietnamese restaurant” – this place is not to be missed if you love Pho. Go in hungry as the portions here are sizeable!

 • Bel and Brio

Sonder’s local favourite for coffee and lunches! The staff here are incredibly attentive, the traditional Italian menu that centres on fresh produce always delicious, and the wine list is extensive if that’s the type of lunch you’re looking for!
